Yono Arcade: Video Coins and Playing a Game Are Different Activities
What the 3NEX noncash app's video-coin feature tells you, and what it does not establish about free access to every mode.
A short break can turn into more video time than game time. For Yono Arcade, it helps to recognise that a video activity and the game you wanted to play are different parts of the experience.
The 3NEX Google Play listing describes card-style games, mini-games and video activities that add virtual coins. It explicitly excludes cash prizes and real-money wagering. It does not give a universal video-to-coin rate.
An extra resource is not the game objective
A game may have its own objective, such as completing its displayed challenge. A video-linked coin addition concerns a resource outside that objective. Collecting more resources does not necessarily mean that you have completed more of the game itself.
That matters when evaluating whether a free feature is useful. The relevant question is whether the activity supports the entertainment you actually want, rather than whether it makes a total larger.
No particular objective, entrance requirement or price is assumed here for the app's unnamed mini-games.
“Available video” is a condition
A video feature described in a store page is not a promise that a video will be available at every moment. Nor does the description establish the length of each video, the number that may be viewed or an exact coin amount.
If an offer has its own conditions, those conditions belong to that offer. A rule for one video activity should not be extended to all games or every daily feature.
It is also important not to reverse the claim. The fact that videos can add coins does not, by itself, prove that watching a video is mandatory before every game. Optionality and access rules need their own explicit wording.
A simple way to describe the experience
Instead of saying “the app was free”, describe which part was free of payment and what the activity required. “I used a noncash game” and “I spent time on a video activity” convey different information. Neither statement needs a rupee conversion.
For the identified 3NEX product, virtual entertainment is established by the developer's description. Unlimited access, an ad-free session and a fixed daily resource supply are not. That leaves a clear, useful expectation: a collection of games with separate virtual-reward activities, whose individual conditions should not be merged into one broad promise.
