IND SLOTS Records: Added Over Time Is Not the Same as Held Now

A small fictional ledger explains why accumulated additions and a current balance may differ, and which missing entries prevent a reliable comparison.

A history can show how much was added over time while a balance shows what remains at a particular moment. Those numbers may differ even when the arithmetic is correct.

The BLG description of IND SLOTS, checked on 2 November 2026, mentions coin balances and activity history. It does not provide a complete ledger specification or establish the monetary status of every unit. This is a neutral explanation of records, not a guide to moving funds or obtaining rewards.

Define the two measurements

“Total additions” sums entries that increase a record during a stated period. “Current balance” also depends on the starting amount and any decreases or other adjustments.

Without those boundaries, two correct numbers can appear inconsistent.

In a fictional paper ledger, begin with twelve tokens. Add five, then add three, then remove four for a fictional use. The additions total eight; the ending balance is sixteen.

The example is invented and does not describe an IND SLOTS charge or actual feature.

Reconcile the full sequence

The calculation is twelve plus five plus three minus four. Ignoring the initial twelve would produce the wrong ending balance. Ignoring the decrease of four would also produce the wrong answer.

This shows why a screenshot of only two addition entries cannot explain every part of a balance. The missing information may be another entry or a different starting point.

It does not prove that a particular app has an error, a hidden charge or a delayed adjustment.

Use one time window

A history filtered to one period and a balance measured at another moment answer different questions. The comparison needs the same boundary.

For a hypothetical note, “additions recorded this morning” is more precise than “everything ever added.” Likewise, an earlier balance should not be described as the present one after more activity has occurred.

The public page does not establish which filters IND SLOTS provides. These are reading distinctions, not instructions for its interface.

Keep the unit attached

The word “coin” does not by itself explain transferability or cash conversion. A numerical reconciliation cannot settle those terms.

The practical benefit is being able to ask for the missing part of a record: starting value, additions, decreases or time boundary. That produces a clearer question than assuming a lifetime total and a current balance must always match.
